EsicS strategy meeting: methodological discussion

The main objective of the first part of the EsicS project is to evaluate the mechanism “Contingent / Indice Socialt”, introduced in the school year 2009/2010. This distribution mechanism was designed to allocate human resources to primary schools in each municipality according to their socio-demographic composition and needs.

This first part of the EsicS project evaluates the technical and methodological adaptations of the mechanism during the first 10 years after its introduction, as well as the local and regional impacts associated with the contingent. In addition, the project examines the efficiency of the use of the allocated resources by municipalities and schools.

At the stategy meeting, the first results were be presented, followed by an open discussion between researchers, policy makers and practitioners.
