National consultation of primary education stakeholders
Framework project: CAEF
Period: 08.11.2021 – 17.12.2021
Target group: Primary education
Between 8 November and 17 December 2021, the University of Luxembourg is organising a national consultation of all primary school teachers and educators about their profession as part of the first phase of the CEEF project. This is an opportunity for the actors in the field to give their account of the difficulties they encounter daily and to take a position on the orientations and measures implemented since the school reform of 2009 (organisation in cycles, competency-based approach, differentiation of teaching practices, formative assessment, school development plan, evaluations, cycle extensions, collaborative practices, etc.).
This consultation is carried out via an online survey. It constitutes the first phase of the participatory study developed by the University. During the second phase in spring 2022, thematic workshops will take place to analyse the findings of the first phase of the study and consider possible improvements. These workshops will bring together different types of stakeholders willing to engage in this participatory analysis process.
The study was commissioned by the National Observatory for School Quality (Observatoire national de la qualité scolaire – ONQS). However, it is conducted independently by the University.
The results will be the subject of two independent reports: a scientific report written by the university team and a thematic report prepared by the ONQS. The study results will be presented to the Chambre des députés and published on the ONQS website.
