[VIDEO] The role of education in preparing young people for the challenges of the 21st century

The challenges that society is facing in the 21st century are complex and varied and have a major impact on the world of work, socialisation and well-being. Profound societal transformations are prompting education systems around the world to make profound changes in learning objectives and curriculum.

Based on a number of meta-analyses, the NQT recommends the adoption of the synthesised 21st century key competences framework and advocates the development of a national curriculum framework.
